備考：　 在留資格が「留学」である、 アジア太平洋地域諸国（パキスタン、ネパール、インド、ブータン、スリランカ、モルジブ、バングラディシュ、ミャンマー、タイ、ラオス、カンボジア、ベトナム、フィリピン、インドネシア、マレーシア、ブルネイ、シンガポール、台湾、大韓民国、中華人民共和国(香港を含む)、モンゴル、オーストラリア、西サモア、ニュージーランド、パプアニューギニア、ソロモン諸島、その他太平洋上諸国）からの私費留学生対象。中国・韓国・台湾からの学部生は対象外。　継続・再応募・延長を希望する奨学生は、国際交流室に申し出ること。将来、母国における各分野の指導者を目指し、国際理解と親善に貢献する意欲のある者。財団との日常のコミュニケーションに支障のない程度の日本語能力のある者。他奨学金の併給不可。年２回の「奨学生の集い」に参加すること。奨学金終了後も当財団との交流を継続する意志のあること。

※Applicants must submit a research plan or a research progress report (up to 2 pages, Japanese, handwritten, use of a wordprocessor is not allowed) to OIAA by the deadline �@. Use a photocopy of the application forms that are distributed or the similar manuscript paper. Submissions by fax is accepted.　Also, applicants must notify the office by e-mail of their intent to apply as usual.

Remarks： For foreign students who have a "Ryuugaku (College Student)" visa　and who are from the Asia-Pacific region (Pakistan, Nepal, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Taiwan, The Republic of Korea, The People's Republic of China（including Hong Kong）, Mongolia, Australia, Western Samoa, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, other countries in the Pacific Ocean). Undergraduate students from China Korea, and Taiwan cannot apply. Those who wish to continue to receive scholarship, reapply for scholarship, or extend the period of scholarship should consult the OIAA. Grantees should aim to become leaders in their field in their home countries and should be highly motivated to contribute to international understanding and goodwill. Must have enough Japanese-language proficiency for daily communication with　the foundation without difficulties. Must not receive other scholarships at the same time. Participation in the "grantees' meetings" held twice a year is necessary. Grantees should be willing to continue to communicate with the foundation even after the grant period is over. *Photocopy of application form is not accepted. Original application form will be only given to the one to be recommended from the Graduate School and the Faculty of Medicine.
