＜奨学金説明＞

この奨学金には、医学系研究科からは、ただ1人が推薦されますが、東京大学留学生課で、さらに選考があります。

いろいろな研究科（たとえば工学系研究科、農学系研究科、薬学系研究科など）からも1人づつが推薦されていて、

東京大学全体で1人のみが大学推薦を受けることになります。

医学系研究科から毎年1人が推薦されていますが、2001年4月以降、1人もこの奨学金給付を受けていません。

なお、国際交流室のホームページに掲載している財団の申請書類は最新版ではありません。国際交流室で配布している

応募書類及び奨学金ファイルで内容を確認してください。

備考：　                                   アジア諸国からの私費留学生対象。年齢制限なし。日本語による意思伝達が可能な者。

国際理解と親善に関心を持ち、相互交流・協調の精神を有する者。財団主催の国際交流活動に必ず参加できる者（年１回）。

 

<Clarification of procedure for selecting scholarship grantees.>

Each year, the Office of International Academic Affairs nominates only one candidate from among all applicants in the

Graduate School of Medicine. Other Graduate Schools (Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) also

nominate candidates. Then, the University's central administrative office evaluates all of those candidates and selects

only one from the University as a whole, to be recommended from the University each year. Since April of 2001,

the Graduate School of Medicine has nominated one candidate each year, but, because of competition from the other

Graduate Schools, no candidate from the Graduate School of Medicine has yet received this scholarship.

Also, the foundation’s applications forms shown on this Office’s website are not the latest version. Be sure to check the

application dossiers distributed at the Office or the scholarship file for the contents.

Grantees should understand and contribute to international understanding and goodwill, and should highly value harmonious cooperation. Grantees must participate in the foundation's international activities once a year.
