医学系研究科から毎年1人が推薦されていますが、2001年4月以降、この奨学金給付を受けたのは1人です。

備考：　                                   ASEAN諸国及び南西アジア諸国（バングラデシュ、ブータン、ブルネイ、カンボジア、インド、インドネシア、ラオス、

Since April of 2001, the Graduate School of Medicine has nominated one candidate each year, but, because of competition from the other Graduate Schools, only one candidate from the Graduate School of Medicine has received this scholarship.

Remarks：                      For foreign students from ASEAN and Southwest Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam) who are not receiving other scholarships. Grantees should understand and contribute to international understanding and goodwill, and MUST attend the foundation’s international exchange activities held 6 times per year. Those whose parent(s) are working in Japan as well as those who have a doctoral degree cannot apply. Some expense will be provided when attending an academic meeting. Must submit a “life report” to the foundation.
