Since April of
2001, the Graduate School of
Medicine has nominated one candidate each year, but, because of competition
from the other Graduate Schools, no candidate from the Graduate School of
Medicine has yet received this scholarship. Each year, the Office of
International Academic Affairs nominates only one candidate from among all
applicants in the Graduate School of Medicine. Other Graduate Schools
(Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) also nominate
candidates. Then, the University's central administrative office evaluates all
of those candidates and selects only one graduate student, from the University
as a whole, to be recommended from the University each year.
The foundation’s applications forms on this
Office’s website are NOT the latest versions. Be sure to check the
application dossiers distributed at the Office or the scholarship file for the
contents.
