備考：　                                   私費留学生対象。台湾籍留学生は応募資格なし。

平成２１年４月から大学院正規課程に進学する研究生は応募可。

平成２１年４月１日現在で満３５歳未満の者（１９７４年４月２日以降出生者）。他奨学金との併給不可。

条件付きで帰国旅費支給。授業料免除。成績優秀で研究計画がきちんとしていないと採用されないので注意すること。

応募者は締切日までに２００８年度改訂版(冬学期用)の《民間奨学金申請調書》及び添付書類を提出の上、２００９年度４月時点での所属研究科、研究室、指導教官をe-mail にて国際交流室へ申し出ること。また、具体的な研究計画書（日本語又は英語・A４版１枚）を締切日（１０／７）までに提出すること。出版あるいは受理された論文（応募者が筆頭著者の場合に限る）がある場合は、論文情報を上記研究計画書に含めること（含める場合もＡ４ １枚以内にすること。２枚以上は認められない）。

医学系研究科内学内選考通過内定者１２名に対して、１０月２０日（月）１８：００より、日本語又は英語による面接（口頭発表。研究計画の発表６分と質疑応答３分）を実施。発表には７画面までパワーポイントによるスライドが使用可。（詳細はこちら。）

Remarks：                       For self-supporting foreign students excluding those with Taiwan passports. Kenkyu-sei who will be enrolled in a master's or doctoral course as a regular student as of April 2009 can apply.

Must be aged 34 or under as of April 1, 2009 (those who were born on or after April 2, 1974). Must not　receive other scholarships at the same time. Travel expenses for returning to home country are provided　in some cases. Tuition is waived. Must have an excellent academic record and a carefully thought-out research plan.　Applicants must submit by the deadline民間奨学金申請調書　(Minkanshougakukin-shinsei-chousho) (2008 New Academic Edition for winter semester) together with attached documents as well as notifying the office your enrolled departments, laboratories and supervisors aｓ of April,2009 by email to apply. In addition, applicants must submit a specific research plan (either in Japanese or in English, A4 size, 1 page) to OIAA by the same deadline (16:00, October 7, 2008 ). Include information on relevant papers published in or accepted by academic journals, but only if the applicant is the first author (Even if this information is included, the submitted page is A4 size, only 1 page). Interviews (oral presentations) will be held to select two from among the twelve applicants who pass the document-based screening within the Graduate School of Medicine. Those oral presentations may be given either in Japanese or in English, on Monday, October 20, 2008, from 18:00 (6 minutes for presentation of research plan and 3 minutes for Q&A). Only SEVEN screens of PowerPoint can be used in the presentation. (See Details.)
