備考：　

・人文・社会科学の分野（社会医学等）対象。（研究者が日本やアジア・大洋州の社会、文化などへの理解・認識を深め、将来これにより国際交流が一層促進されるような研究を重視。）

・アジア、大洋州諸国・地域から来日中の留学生対象。

・博士号をすでに取得している者、あるいは助成金授与時（２０13年７月）までに博士号取得が決定（内定）している者は応募不可。

・助成内定者は研究助成説明会・懇親会（6月下旬〜７月上旬予定）に必ず出席のこと。その後、各種義務（研究報告書・会計報告書の提出等）あり

<Eligiblility>

-Reaseach Field: Humanities or Social Sciences (e.g. Social Medicine). Special emphasis is given to themes that help deepen researcher's understanding and awareness of Japanese or Asian/Oceanian society and culture and enhance international interchanges.

-Foreign students from Asia-Pacific country/area.

- Those who already holds Ph.D, or appointed to receive Ph.D before the date of grant (July 2013 ) cannot apply.

<Obligations>

Succesful applicants MUST attend the meeting (guidance/ reception party) in the beginning of July.

Grantees are responsible to perform their research according to the accepted plan. Within three month after the subsidization period, the grantees must submit research reports together with the financial reports approved by their supervisors. The organization may request the grantee to make presentation at academic meetings, or disclose the research outcomes.
