Research Activities
Dr. Keiko Nanishi (https://researchmap.jp/nanishi; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7067-8413) works in the field of global health. Her research focuses on improving infant and young child nutrition and ensuring a continuum of care from pregnancy through delivery, the postpartum period, and early childhood.

Educational Activities
David Kipler and Dr. Florence Ene offer training in English writing and oral presentation. Dr. Ene, Binzee Gonzalvo, and Sean Bennett also teach courses in medical English to medical students. The OIAA is available to provide training activities for departments and laboratories in the Graduate School and Faculty of Medicine. Seminar topics include writing and revising a research article, grammar and usage, sentence structure, effective paraphrasing, and preparation and practice of oral presentations. Personal consultations on writing, presentation, and manuscript submission are available by appointment.
